Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds has screened to the international press at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. It will be a few hours before we have full reviews, but here is the early Twitter buzz:

FirstShowing : Inglourious Basterds was frickin’ awesome! This is the WW2 movie we’ve all been waiting to see!! Lots of talking scenes, but still great! Diff than I was expecting, but I think Tarantino is back in action, hell yea!! The action is kind of minimal, but that’s Tarantino for you, lots of talking, but great story, I loved it!

empiremagazine: Glorious Basterds, as it turns out… very, very good, subverting expectations at every corner. Should make Michael Fassbender a star - C It’s utterly unpredictable. When it looks like going one way, it twists the other, & the ending… so audacious it provokes giddy laughter. Christoph Waltz, as Jew Hunter Hans Landa, is a revelation. Shoo-in for Best Supporting Nom. Looks like evil Rob Brydon too. All performances are uniformly grand. Pitt’s hilarious. And the film has two or three scenes that rival anything in QT’s career for tension.

V tomhle případě doporučuju na jistotu Google hledání obrázků, případně IMDB.

zkoušel jsem jen na seznamu. Prošel jsem pět stránek a měl jsem toho dost :-D

Tony.cs nedelj si z nás srandu, najít obrázek pána podle jména je ta nejjednodušší věc. Google chlape :) ale chápu já sem občas taky línej

Zajímavost: nebýt na poslední chvíli Christopha Waltze, Tarantino by prý celý projekt odpískal. Už měl pomalu za to, že napsal nezahratelný charakter.

Z parchantů jsou zase pancharti, už by se konečně měli rozhodnout :)

ad predelavanie: asi nepoviem ziadnu novinku -> Cannes je uz dlhsiu dobu brane z casti ako "testovacie" publikum. Viacero filmov i v hlavnej sutazi nakoniec ide v domacom release v obmenenej verzii nez bolo premietane v Cannes (i ked vacsinou ide o minoritne zasahy, vid. napr korejsky NomNomNom). Ani by ma neprekvapilo (skor naopak) ak by Tarantinov bijak, ktory ma world release az v auguste nebol voci tej Cannes verzi aspon malo upraveny... hoc ako pise CheGuevara snad sa nedozijeme dvojdielu ...

Hi Harry, I dunno if you'd seen this or not or if it's news or not, but on the Cannes website, they have a presskit in French. However, the last page is the entire "setlist" for the soundtrack. I know ya'll posted soundtrack info for "Death Proof" when it was released. Anyways, just thought you'd like to know. Lots of Spaghetti Western stuff, and David Bowie and the theme to Slaughter by Bill Preston and a song from The Alamo.

Tak hlavně aby se už nevraceli k myšlence dvou dílů. Jeden 160 minutový film bohatě stačí.

Roger Ebert´s Journal: Now they are gossiping about the new Quentin Tarantino film, "Inglourious Basterds," which is in the Official Competition here on Wednesday May 20th. Pierre, of course, has known Quentin since before "Reservoir Dogs." I ask him if the Tarantino is a return to form, after the "Grindhouse" endeavor. "I have not seen it yet," he said. "I don't think even Quentin has seen it yet. I saw him shooting it in Paris. I think it will be very good. Tarantino is crazy. He is alway filming and editing right up to the last second."

Treba se bude jeste nakonec predelavat....
