Rytíř pohárů

No nevím, jestli je toto zdržování dobrou strategií. Pak vypustí během dvou let 3 filmy a další 3-4 prodloužené edice jeho starších filmů a pak tipuji další dlouhé čekání...

Osobně tipuji, že za zdržením je hlavně letošní uvedení Malickem produkovaného leso-dramatu The Better Angels, které je svým pojetím velmi, velmi blízké jeho vlastním filmům. Dobrá zpráva ale je, že to už má v Americe premiéru za pár dní, tak snad možno do konce roku očekávat minimálně nějaké oznámení, fotku, teaser...

Začínam pochybovať, či sa tohto filmu aj dožijem..

Zítra od jedenácti hodin dopoledních proběhne v Římě tisková konference k Benátskému festivalu, kde bude uveřejněn line-up a tak vůbec. Tak snad... konečně... ! :)

Vida, Rytíř pohárů se dočká omezené distribuce v Americe někdy ke konci roku; Benátky tím vypadají téměř nevyhnutelně. :)

I tak ale doufejme, že se brzy dočkáme dalších informací. :)

Tak či onak je ale jasné, že Rytíře se letos dočkáme na 100%.

A pokud nedopadne Cannes, Benátky nebo Toronto to jistí. :)

No já doufám, protože rok 2014 bez nového Malicka bych nezvládl. :-)

Těžko předvídat, ale osobně bych vsadil na to, že Rytíře pohárů se dočkáme (nebo alespoň ti šťastlivci, v jejichž zemi se odehraje premiéra) už teď na jaře, druhého filmu tak na podzim. Další fotky nebo rovnou trailer z Rytíře se mohou objevit v podstatě každým dnem... :)

Q: What's going on with the two Malick films?

Bale: With "Knight of Cups" I was there the whole time. The other one I unfortunately wasn't able to do everything I was meant to do, so I ended up doing like three, four days on that. Which in Terry's world means you're never going to see me in it.

Q: Do you think "Knight of Cups" is heading toward some kind of finish? Are they asking you to do post-production sound or anything like that?

Bale: Yeah. I've been doing that for months. Terry is on fire. They're both going to get finished. There's no doubt about it. WHEN, I can't tell you. But they're both going to get finished. He's just lit up. He's possessed.
